Celebrities are well endowed with the good fortune to cater to their wildest fantasies. Some guilty pleasures make sense while some of them just make us go “huh??” Here is a countdown of the craziest purchases by some of our beloved stars.

10. Bono was in Italy for a charity gig when he realized that he had forgotten his favorite black hat. The U2 singer bought a first class plane ticket worth more than £1,000, for the hat, so it wouldn’t get damaged with the other luggage. Do we wish we were a hat sometimes? Yes, we do.
9. Lady Gaga spent $50,000 on a ghost detecting machine. According to a news source, the celebrity purchased an Electro-Magnetic Field Reader in 2010 to keep the ghosts at bay while she tours.
8. Beyoncé‘s daughter Blue Ivy Carter, was given a very special, custom-made Barbie doll for her first birthday. The doll was encrusted with diamonds, and reportedly cost Queen Bey $85,000.
7. For those of us with car troubles, this one is going to sting. Miley Cyrus spent over $150,000 on a Range Rover, specifically for her dogs. How sad for them, they won’t get to sit in the pop star’s Maserati.
6. Lil Wayne has always been that celebrity known for his bling and extravagance. The rapper paid more than $200,000 to have his teeth covered in diamonds.
5. Katy Perry bought her then-fiancé Russel Brand a $200,000 ticket to space. For his 35th birthday in 2010, Perry bought the ticket for Richard Branson’s spaceship company Virgin Galactic. What were you hinting at, Katy?
4. A quality humidifier costs the average Joe around $200, but maybe the rate goes up when you factor in the celebrity status. Celine Dion paid $2 million dollars for a humidifier while she was touring. She probably has insurance, so why not?
3. Lil Uzi Vert recently stormed the internet with his decision to pierce his forehead with a $24 million rare pink diamond. The rapper finally went through with the procedure and later took to twitter to mention it hurts like hell.
2. Taylor Swift has not one but two $44.8 million Dassault Falcon 900 tri-jets. We are fairly certain the second jet plane is for her cats to travel.

That explains the million dollar Paris vacays, Beyoncé’s solid gold leggings, and oh yes, a $55 million racehorse Jay-Z purchased from the Kentucky Derby. It’s understandable though, the horse is really cute.
