1. Taylor Swift is the first and only act to release four consecutive albums (Speak Now, Red, 1989, & reputation) that sold 1 million copies each in their debut weeks.
2. Taylor Swift was the first artist to have all songs from the same album chart on the Billboard Hot 100. Her album, “Speak Now”, achieved this feat.
3. Taylor’s latest album, “folklore”, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Further, the single, ‘cardigan’, debuted atop the billboard Hot 100, making her the only artist in history to score No. 1 on both charts within the same week, and simultaneously.
4. Her smash hit pop album, “1989” is the only album to have 5 singles reach #1 on US iTunes.
5. With her latest entries on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, Swift holds the record for the most entries by a female artist on the chart with a total of 113 entries.
6. Taylor is the first female solo act to win the Grammy for “Album of the Year” twice.
7. Her 7th studio album, “Lover”, holds the title of the best-selling album in the world for the year 2019. By the end of 2019, it had sold 3.2 million copies.
8. In addition, Taylor Swift currently holds the record for the most one-day streams on Spotify (female). “folklore” was streamed 80.6 million times in 24 hours upon release.
9. All the “folklore” records don’t just stop there. The album also holds the record for the biggest debut of 2020. The album has sold 846,000 units in its debut week.
10. Taylor’s 2006 self-titled album was the longest charting studio album of the 2000s on the billboard 200 albums chart.
