These ten musicians, singer songwriters too, lost the battle against Coronavirus in March and April. The list is overwhelming. From Woody Allen's bandleader -- Eddy Davis to rapper Fred the Godson.

1. Adam Schlesinger was a celebrated musician who won an Emmy for his work on 'Crazy Ex-Girlfriend' a hit show on Netflix. On April 1, he died of complications from Coronavirus.

2. Lee Konitz fell to the hands of pneumonia and died of Coronavirus attack on April 15. He was a legendary saxophonist and had once held spot at No. 22 on Billboard's Contemporary Jazz charts.

3. Wallace Roney was a Grammy-winning trumpeter and Miles Davis's contemporary and had played with him. He died on March 31 of complications with Coronavirus.

4. Alan Merrill was a singer- songwriter and co-wrote 'I Love Rock N' Roll'. He died on MArch 29 after which his family confirmed that the death was Coronavirus related.

5. 'Soul Makossa' is a song of Manu Dibango that gained global popularity for infusing African beats to funk. He died on 24 March, due to Coronavirus.

6. Eddy Davis was the band leader of
Eddy Davis New Orleans Jazz Band. The band had gained a lot of popularity because of their clarinetist, Woody Allen. Eddy also created the soundtrack for Allen's film -- Midnight in Paris and won a Grammy. He died on April 7 due to Coronavirus.

8. Joe Diffie was a country artist who died on March 29 of Coronavirus complications. He wrote the song 'Bigger Than The Beatles' and had won a Grammy.

9. Fred the Godson was 35-years-old. He was a rising rapper, in the league of Meek Mill, Kendrick LAamr and others. He dies of complications relating to Coronavirus three weeks after diagnosis.

10. John Prine was a loved singer-songwriter and a twice Grammy winner. HE died on April 7 due to Coronavirus.
