MTV VMAs 2020: Who’s Performing This Year?
2020 has been a surprising year in more ways than one. But, one unavoidable fact is: the music has been great and in plenty. And, as artists struggle to connect with their fans in person, this years VMAs is going to deliver on every front. From some of the biggest showstoppers in entertainment, to global acts, this award show is going to be one to watch out for.
The 2020 MTV Video Music Awards are all set to take place next week. And, as we prepare ourselves for the musical surprises coming our way, we’re diving right into the year’s performers.

1. Miley Cyrus, will take the stage at this year’s VMAs marking her fifth performance at the award show. She’s all set to perform her latest single ‘Midnight Sky’ for the first time.
2. Lady Gaga is sure to take us to ‘Chromatica’ with a dazzling performance. This performance will mark the singer’s return to the VMAs stage after 7 long years.
3. Breakthrough rapper, Roddy Ricch, will take the stage, performing his biggest career hits. The star has risen to new heights in the past few months, so this will be one to watch.
4. Latin-American boy band, CNCO, will bring that global flair to the stage at this year’s VMAs. Their performances are always energetic, so stay locked on.
5. Rapper and singer, Doja Cat, is sure to put on a sultry, cheeky performance, dazzling audiences world over. She has risen to new heights with her music this year.
6. BTS are a pop force to be reckoned with. So, it’s no surprise that they’ll be performing their first English-language single, ‘Dynamite’, at the VMAs for the first time.
7. Colombian rap sensation, J Balvin, is sure to set the stage on fire with his unique flavour and undeniable energy. So, stay focused.
8. In addition to J Balvin, Maluma, will take the VMAs stage by storm. Coming off the heels of his brand new release, this performance will be fiery to say the least.
9. The Weeknd has had one of the biggest years in music in 2020. And, if that wasn’t enough, he’s sure to light the VMAs stage on fire with his signature performances.
