Billie Eilish Loses 100,000 Followers: Here’s Why
The ‘Bad guy’ singer and teen icon Billie Eilish is the latest celebrity to participate in the latest viral trend on Instagram called “post a photo of”.
What Did She Post A Picture Of?
The trend lets celebrities connect with their followers and Billie did the same. Giving in to fans’ requests, Billie shared an image of her lock screen and a drawing that she’s proud of.
The singer also shared a string of drawings of a woman’s bare breasts surrounded by snake sketches and a photo of two topless women captioning it “these probably lol I love boobs.” This did not go down very well with a few of her followers and her follower count saw a sudden dip by 100,000 followers. Fans are quick to notice anything that happens with their favourite celebrities and the same followed with Billie as well.
Hawk-eyed Fans Eh?
Only a short while later, a fan noticed a drop In follower count on Billie Eilish’s Instagram account. Billie saw a drop of about 100,000 i.e., from 73 million to a current count of 72.9 million and the fans even posted about it.
Billie is known to keep facts straight and a bold one at it. The ‘ocean eyes’ singer reposted the post on her Instagram stories, that had 2 pictures side by side comparing her follower count with the caption “LMFAOOO y’all babies smh.”
Well, we expected nothing short of that reaction from Billie. She clearly has plenty on her plate to think of with her recent birthday celebration and her second album that she has her nose buried in. Eilish announced a sophomore album shortly after her birthday on Dec. 18th promising a “new era” for it under one condition.
A Shady Story!
Fans have been going on about her hairdo that saw Eilish in black and green shades in her hair which has a fun story behind it. She shared the story on her IG stories with a preceding message that read “But first, f–k you guys. Stop making fun of me, oh my god! I’m f–king making you an album. I will not put it out if you keep making fun of my hair! Shut up!”
The singer sure knows how to tease her fans although she did mention to her fans that they can expect her to get a makeover from the signature Billie Eilish black and green hairdo but only when her documentary, Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little blurry drop in February on Apple TV+.
