BLACKPINK Teases ‘Ice Cream’ Ft. Selena Gomez

BLACKPINK is all set to make their comeback to pop music. And, as the days inch closer, news about their upcoming single, a collaboration with Selena Gomez, keeps us on our toes. The track, called ‘Ice Cream’ promises to be a fun, summer single accompanied by a music video. Further, it will serve as a precursor to their upcoming, first ever studio album, slated for release in October. 

Over the weekend, a slew of teasers promoting ‘Ice Cream’ reached the music world. The first few teaser images revealed the name of the highly anticipated track. And, today, fans rejoice in a first look at the music from the song. Further, it also features an interaction between the girls of BLACKPINK and Selena Gomez. 

The video teaser features a video call between the two artists, and sees them confessing their love and admiration for the other. Further, Gomez can be heard saying, “I’m so stoked. I’ve been a fan of you guys and so, this is a big big dream for me.” BLACKPINK, too, shares their love for the singer. Rose, says: “We’re so glad you’re on it because we’ve been a big fan of you for so long now”. 

Aside from the short interaction between the two, the teaser features what fans speculate will be the hook of the upcoming track. In addition, YG Entertainment, have released teasers of the members and more leading to the release. 

‘Ice Cream’ is slated for release on the 28th of August, 2020.
