BLACKPINK’s “Light Up the Sky”: The First Trailer

BLACKPINK’s “Light Up The Sky” is almost here. And, ahead of the monumental release, Netflix has released the first look at the upcoming documentary. The trailer was released late last night. And, has since been garnering attention online and from the girls of the group themselves. 

As teased before, “Light Up The Sky” set out to follow BLACKPINK’s meteoric rise to fame in K-Pop. In addition, it also details their mass popularity in the global music market. After all, BLACKPINK did just become the most streamed artist on Global Spotify. Further, the documentary, in signature fashion, is chock-a-block full with interviews of the 4 members and their close collaborators.

And, in a pleasant surprise, the trailer teases a sneak peek into the group’s studio time – something fans haven’t seen much of. So, this time around, Blinks can expect a look at their recording process, too. 

Further, the documentary details the various expectations and pressures BLACKPINK faces as a group. “Light Up The Sky” explores the group’s rising status in the pop music market, and what that means for the girls. In addition, the documentary will also feature footage from their trainee days and shine a light on the process of training and auditioning in the world of K-Pop.

In addition, BLACKPINK’s reaction to the trailer was also posted online. Jisoo, Lisa, Rose and Jennie reacted to the trailer for the first time, expressing their excitement at the upcoming documentary. Now, “Light Up The Sky” – a Netflix original documentary – is slated for release on the 14th of October. So, keep your eyes peeled for further updates.
