Dave Invites Drake To Perform During His Toronto Show
Drake told the crowd that Dave is a once-in-a-generation talent
Dave surprised his audience by bringing Drake out onstage at his show in Toronto, Canada on 12th May. Check out the video below.
As part of his 2022 North American headline tour, the south London rapper and musician played at the History venue in Drake’s hometown. Dave is touring in support of his latest album, ‘We’re All Alone In This Together,’ which was released in July.
Dave and Drake performed a live edition of their 2016 collaboration ‘Wanna Know,’ as well as a collaborative version of Drake’s ‘Certified Lover Boy’ tune ‘Knife Talk,’ according to The Line Of Best Fit.
Drake praised Dave as a once-in-a-generation talent while speaking to the audience. The latter artist made an appearance in season one of Drake’s hit programme ‘Top Boy’, which returned in 2019 after a six-year break. While on stage with Dave last night, the Canadian singer also confirmed the return of his OVO Fest.
Dave is set to return to the UK this summer for headline performances at Reading & Leeds and the new Birmingham leg of Wireless Festival. Drake secured a massive new deal with Universal Music Group earlier this month, according to reports. He’s thought to be in the studio right now working on new stuff.
