Doja Cat Has A Lot To Say As She Stands Up For Herself

Doja Cat has spoken once again, regarding the backlash she’s been targetted for. Recently, a video surfaced online in which she seems to be participating in a chatroom filled with racist comments. The ‘Say So‘ singer tried her best to end the controversy that time itself but it looks like it’s not going to leave her. Apparently, Doja is not going to have it anymore, she has a lot to say as she stands up for herself.

Doja Cat cleared her part as she took to her Twitter on July 21st to answer to those who criticise her. She refers to the ‘Say So’ track in which there are four black women who earned the No.1 spot on the Billboard’s Hot 100

The singer says, “Remember when people said I was black when I had a #1 along side 3 other black women but now the same people wanna say I’m white? Maybe I’m not the one here with ‘identity issues.’ “

As expected the tweet by Doja Cat sparked a lot of backlash once again, people just didn’t seem to want to let this go. It’s almost as though some of them wanted to remind her about what she spoke during the chatroom. And, that she had missed the point while she addressed the issue again.

Doja Cat is not the one to hold back, she responded quickly. She asks the critics to think about how it’s not possible for a white supremacists to hang out with a black person.

After posting the tweet, she realized that she was going in the wrong direction and deleted her tweet. Doja Cat took this step as people pointed out that she was just trying to dilute the complexity of white supremacy.

She ended her case by sending a final tweet in which she explains how she is just standing up for herself.

Seems like there is a lot of explaining we need from Doja Cat because this is not going to end. She seems to have ticked a lot of people with the chatroom issue and even with her tweets regarding it. We will just have to wait and watch how this is going to unfold.
