Album Trailer

Summer Walker features on ‘Ready’ while Dave on ‘Money Talks’. Fredo shared the trailer for the album on his social media. Watch the trailer here:

Fredo shared in a statement, “I want to apologise for the wait, I had a whole different style album that didn’t really mean anything to me. Meanwhile, a lot was going on in life that I was angry and confused about. I really thought that once you have the money you can’t be happy inside even if stuff’s going on but it’s not like that. I felt like the project I was working on before was me but doesn’t really explain to me.”

“I don’t want people thinking that certain things I rap about are important or the key of life because they’re not. Most things I rap about are just what I been through or reality for me and my friends.” Fredo added talking about his album.

Boogie!

Last week also saw the release of the ‘Boogie’ film trailer. Pop Smoke filmed for his role in the film before his tragic death.

Steven Victor, the founder of the record label that Pop Smoke was signed to, also took to Instagram to share a project. Victor confirmed that the project that fans speculated to be a collaboration with HUMAN MADE, was indeed one. The music executive shared an image and in a series of comments confirmed fans’ speculations leaving them excited.

One of the listeners asked “New pop coming?” to which Victor replied with a simple “yes”. Fans of Pop Smoke cannot wait while another one commented, “Clear pop’s verses, especially for fredo x young adz x pop smoke,” and the label head replied, “cleared coming soon.”, regarding a particular collaboration.

Pop Smoke Aims For The Moon!

The rapper’s debut album “Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon”, dropped in July 2020 only to open at No.1 on the Billboard 200! The project that was beloved to Pop Smoke made him the only artist to achieve a chart-topper posthumously with a debut. The rapper also became one of the very few hip-hop acts to bag the No.1 spot posthumously apart from 2Pac and Biggie Smalls.

We cannot wait for the works of Pop Smoke to drop as we remember the rapper with fond music memories. Listen to “Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon” here:
