Kelly Clarkson Set To Rock An Eye-Patch At The Voice

On November 10, 2020, Kelly Clarkson took to Twitter to show off her new look for The Voice’s battle rounds. This next round of the US TV show kicks off this week and the ‘Catch Your Breath’ singer is all set to don this new look.

Fans went crazy following a preview of the episode that went up last week. In the preview, Kelly Clarkson is seen pulling off a fashionable full-fledged pirate look. However, the singer isn’t just rocking this attire for fashion reasons. In fact, she has her eye infected and she will be wearing the eye patch to make sure there is no further infection.

Kelly Clarkson will be coaching her team along with guest Leon Bridges. And, in the episode preview, she joked: “So obviously today you’re going to notice something different about me. I feel like I could be a really great supervillain.”

The 20-second clip has Kelly Clarkson entering a practice session with Bridges followed by a few interview bytes. During the chat, she says:
“Something got in my eye and it got a little infected, so I have to wear an eye patch. Instead of Coach Kelly for the battle rounds… y’all get Captain Kelly.”

This is the 19th season of the hit-show and the coaches are all gearing up for the upcoming battle rounds. The singer has been on the show for several years and while Kelly has taken on coaching duties again she is certainly sporting a different look.

Fans were quick to notice that this was the same eye-patch she had on during a recent episode of her talk show the Kelly Clarkson Show. She later explained that these current episodes of The Voice were shot a month ago. 

As Kelly Clarkson looks to plot her path to success in this latest edition of The Voice, fans are hoping that this new look will bring her luck.
