Lana Del Rey Teases A Song After Releasing An Album
Lana Del Rey just knows how to keep her fans happy. The singer has not even given us a moment to take in her new album. On 19th March, she dropped her sixth studio album, “Chemtrails Over The Country Club”. Within two days, the singer teased her new song, ‘Rock Candy Sweet’.
“Chemtrails Over The Country Club” consists of eleven tracks and trust us, the album screams of her ‘American’ vibe and is certainly very wild. Lana Del Rey drops hints of her past and present, almost like she’s talking about various points of her life. From talking about all that the money can buy to how God works, it’s got it all.
“Chemtrails Over The Country Club” has nothing but a treat for all of us and of course now, we can look forward to another one. ‘Rock Candy Sweet’ is set to come out on June 1st and will be added to the LP.
All About The Rock Candy!
Lana Del Rey took to her Instagram stories to speak about the criticism she received for cultural appropriation. While doing so, she also announced ‘Rock Candy Sweet’.
“Just want to say thank you again for the kind articles like this one and for reminding me that my career was built on cultural appropriation and glamorizing domestic abuse. I will continue to challenge those thoughts on my next record on June 1 titled Rock Candy Sweet.”
She also continued to say, “You’re right it would have been unnecessary if no one had significantly criticized everythin about the album to begin with. But you did. And I want revenge.”
“Chemtrails Over The Country Club” dropped after a 16 weeks delay due to the pandemic and record plants. However, if ‘Rock Candy Sweet’ drops on June 1st without any delays, then that’ll make three albums in just a year. That’s just so much to handle, but we’re not complaining. Can’t wait!
