Miley Cyrus To Perform ‘Midnight Sky’ At 2020 MTV VMAs

Miley Cyrus is set to perform at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards on August 20, 2020. The singer will give her debut performance for her latest single, ‘Midnight Sky’ which dropped, earlier this week. The track is from her upcoming album which fans are eagerly waiting for.

Previously, the show was going to take place at Brooklyn’s Barclays Centre. However, now the 2020 VMAs will be held at various locations across New York City, where the artists will perform. It will be hosted by Keke Palmer and will air at 8 P.M EST.

Miley Cyrus gave a smashing performance at the 2019 MTV VMAs with her ‘Slide Away’ single and in 2015, she hosted the show. This time around, we will see her performing among a star-studded lineup. Some of the artists include The Weeknd, Doja Cat, Lady Gaga, BTS, CNCO, J Balvin, Roddy Rich, and more.

The ‘Nothing Breaks Like A Heart’ singer took to her Instagram to share a throwback video of her grooving on stage at the 2013 MTV VMAs. The infamous performance is something, she expects to repeat in this year’s VMAs, as well.

Miley Cyrus first stepped onto the MTV VMAs stage in 2013 when she performed, ‘We Can’t Stop’. The following year, she received the Video of the Year Award for her, ‘Wrecking Ball’ track. Then, in 2015, the singer hosted the show for the first time. Last year, she performed her emotional break-up track, ‘Slide Away’.

Well, given the history between the MTV VMAs and Miley Cyrus, we already pumped for her act. But only time will tell if she’s going to go deliver an aesthetic performance or something that is going to get her unrequired attention.
