“Tha Carter VI” Is on Its Way: Lil Wayne

“Tha Carter VI” by Lil Wayne is on its way and we couldn’t be more excited. Who knew the “Tha Carter” series was going to continue? Recently, the rapper let people digitally stream “Free Weezy Album” which shocked the fans and now, this? The ‘Lollipop’ singer knows how to win his fans over.

“Tha Carter” series began in the year 2004 and ever since we’ve received five albums. Without mentioning any details regarding the release of ‘Tha Carter VI’, Lil Wayne disclosed in an interview that his favourite album from the series will be “the next one”.

‘Tha Carter V” came out in 2018 which featured music artists like Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg, Mack Maine, Travis Scott, XXXTentacion and more. The album went on to reach the No.1 on the Billboard 200 chart and also achieved a platinum status.

The news comes as a surprise as Lil Wayne had mentioned that he wasn’t sure about releasing another album in the series, “I’m not sure. I wouldn’t count it out,” he said. It’s not just this album which is on its way, there is news about a collaborative album along with Nicki Minaj.

Seems like Lil Wayne is not going to stop making a lot of music any time soon, no retirement which is an excellent news for the fans.
