‘A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder’: Emma Myers and Zain Iqbal Star in New Mystery Thriller

The BBC has unveiled the first trailer for the highly anticipated murder mystery series, ‘A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder,’ set to premiere on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer in July for UK audiences. Based on Holly Jackson’s acclaimed novel, the six-part series stars rising star Emma Myers, known for her breakout role in Wednesday, alongside Anna Maxwell Martin, Gary Beadle, Mathew Baynton, and newcomer Zain Iqbal.

The trailer offers a sneak peek at Myers embodying the role of Pip Fitz-Amboni, who sets out to unravel the mystery surrounding the murder of schoolgirl Andie Bell. Despite the case being closed with her boyfriend, Sal Singh, as the prime suspect, Pip remains sceptical and is determined to uncover the truth.

This marks Myers’ first major project as a solo lead after her success on ‘Wednesday’ and her ongoing involvement in the Netflix series starring Jenna Ortega. Directed by actress Dolly Wells and written by Poppy Cogan, Zia Ahmed, Ajoke Ibironke, and Ruby Thomas, the series is a screen adaptation of Jackson’s novel.

Executive produced by a team including Wells, Cogan, Jackson, and others, with Florence Walker serving as producer, ‘A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder’ is set to premiere in the UK on 1st July.
