Adam Sandler Returns to Stand-Up in Netflix Comedy Special ‘Love You’

Adam Sandler is back and feeling the love! Netflix dropped the trailer for the Grown Ups star’s new stand-up comedy special, ‘Adam Sandler: Love You’. This special is notable as it marks Josh Safdie’s standup directorial debut and Sandler’s return to the stage since his 2018 special, 100% Fresh.

In the teaser, Sandler gives a taste of what’s to come, telling the audience, “I talk a lot and then I sing and we do a bunch of s—. So alright, here it goes.” He then serenades the crowd with his guitar, joking that the song was inspired by a man in the audience.

The trailer captures the excitement with fans chasing cars, giving high fives, and Sandler humorously losing control as a dog joins him on stage. “What the f— is happening?” he exclaims as the dog interacts with the audience.

Featuring clips of Sandler’s comedic antics, funny faces, and heartfelt moments, he tells the crowd “I love you” before launching into another bit. This new special follows his ‘I Missed You Tour’, which he announced in September 2023 on Instagram, showcasing guitar performances, crowd selfies, and plenty of laughs.

The ‘I Missed You Tour’, produced by Live Nation, included stops in cities like Portland, San Jose, Toronto, Memphis, Salt Lake City, Rochester, Minneapolis, and Oklahoma City, and concluded on 12th December in Denver. 

‘Adam Sandler: Love You’ premieres 27th August on Netflix.
