Alexandra Daddario Talks About The Ups and Downs of Pregnancy

White Lotus alum Alexandra Daddario recently shared with Vogue magazine that she is six months pregnant, marking a significant and emotional chapter in her life. Married to producer Andrew Form, Daddario revealed that her journey to this point has been far from smooth. Having previously suffered a miscarriage, she is now ready to talk about the complexities and emotions of this pregnancy.

“I’m pregnant and it’s all successful and everything’s healthy,” said the 'Baywatch' star, who cradled her baby bump in a heartfelt photoshoot. While she is overjoyed with the pregnancy, her medical history has left her with a mix of feelings. “It’s long and complicated, so I don’t want to be too specific,” Daddario explained, noting that these experiences are challenging to comprehend unless one has gone through them.

Daddario also expressed how she now empathises with other women who have faced similar losses, calling the experience very “painful.” “It was actually quite hard to process,” she admitted.

While filming the second season of the horror series 'Mayfair Witches,' Daddario found it challenging to manage her pregnancy alongside her demanding role. Initially, she tried to keep the news private, but pregnancy sickness quickly made it evident. The toughest part, she said, was “throwing up and having make-out scenes … right after.” She eventually informed the crew, who were very understanding about her situation.

Daddario’s career took off with a string of successful films, but she first gained critical acclaim as Rachel Patton, a struggling journalist in 'The White Lotus.' Her performance earned her an Emmy nomination for 'Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie' in 2022. After two years of dating, Daddario married Form in 2022. Form was previously married to actress Jordana Brewster, with whom he shares two children, Rowan and Julian.

In an Instagram post, Daddario gushed about her husband, writing, "The absolutely most wonderful man; you handle nonsense, loss, life, difficulty, and people with grace and compassion."
