Rihanna Addresses Pregnancy Rumours, Expresses Desire for More Children

Rihanna recently spoke out against swirling pregnancy rumours and shared her hopes for expanding her family in the future. At the launch of her new hair care line, Fenty Hair, the Diamonds singer revealed that while she is not currently expecting, she would love to have a daughter someday.

The ‘Ocean’s 8’ star addressed these rumours during an interview with Entertainment Tonight. She clarified, “I am not pregnant at present,” but added with a hopeful tone, “I would definitely have more kids.” Rihanna, who is already a mother to two boys—2-year-old RZA Athelston Mayers and 10-month-old Riot Rose Mayers—whom she shares with partner A$AP Rocky, has always been open about her dreams of expanding her family.

Reflecting on her previous comments to Interview Magazine about wanting a daughter, Rihanna humorously noted, “Look how that turned out,” referring to her two sons. Despite this, she remains optimistic about having a girl in the future. When asked by Extra if she would like a daughter, she enthusiastically replied, “Of course!” She added, “A girl in the family would be too much fun.”

Rihanna’s openness about her family plans extended to her conversation with stylist Mel Ottenberg for Interview Magazine, where she mentioned her willingness to have as many children as God intends for her. “But of course, if it’s another boy, it’s another boy,” she stated, emphasizing her love for her growing family regardless of the gender of her future children.

During her interview with Extra, Rihanna touched on the curiosity and expectations of fans and media regarding her family plans. “If I ever get a daughter, I am going to show her so much footage,” she joked, highlighting the persistent questions she faces about wanting a girl.
