The actor chuckled, confessing that he's "very late to the game" and had only recently finished watching 'Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban'—the very film that introduces Lupin.

When pressed further about whether he'd consider joining the reboot, Garfield gave a carefully vague answer: "I will consider any role offered, how's that?" The Internet erupted in excitement at once, although his lighthearted tone did not confirm or deny the notion. Garfield's expressive eyes, kind disposition, and shown range as an actor made him an obvious option for the part, according to fans.
