At the same time, Emily Blunt’s character has reportedly climbed the ranks to become a top executive at a major luxury fashion empire — creating the perfect conditions for an intense and dramatic power clash between the former mentor and her one-time assistant.
New faces joining the cast include Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, among others. The plot may also borrow elements from 'Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns', the 2013 novel that picks up with Andy as a successful magazine editor once again facing Miranda’s influence.
