The prospect of returning to 'The Office' has got Melora Hardin, known for her role as Jan Levinson, buzzing with excitement. Despite more than a decade passing since the sitcom's conclusion, the 56-year-old actress is open to the idea of a reboot. In a recent interview, Hardin shared her enthusiasm for a potential comeback, particularly after discussions with the show's creator, Greg Daniels.
Hardin, who played Jan Levinson on the NBC series, expressed her willingness to participate, stating, 'I would certainly show up.' She also believes that many of her fellow cast members would be interested in reprising their roles. The actress even mused about the possibility of a film, saying, 'I would love to make a film because then it would just be quick, and we would do it. I think we could bring everybody back for that.'

While rumours about a reunion have been circulating for about six months, with reports suggesting Daniels is planning a reboot, Hardin did not directly confirm those speculations. Instead, she shared, 'I actually have talked to Greg about some ideas,' hinting at creative discussions. In her imaginative take on a potential storyline, she proposes Jan become a self-help guru, adding a humourous twist to the character's flawed nature.
On the flip side, Greg Daniels, the showrunner, previously mentioned the idea of bringing back 'The Office' with an all-new cast. Speaking to Collider in 2022, he suggested that any potential revival might be an extension of the universe, akin to 'The Mandalorian' in the 'Star Wars' realm. However, he remained uncertain about whether fans would embrace this concept.
