Ariana Grande Makes Comeback in Glinda-Inspired Gown at 2024 Oscars

Amidst the glitz and glamour of the 2024 Oscars, the spotlight shone brightly on pop sensation Ariana Grande, who made a stunning return to the red carpet after a four-year hiatus. Set to present an award alongside her ‘Wicked’ co-star Cynthia Erivo, Grande captivated onlookers with her impeccable style and undeniable presence.

Grande exuded elegance and sophistication in a custom-designed pink strapless ruched column gown, a creation by Giambattista Valli Haute Couture that paid homage to her character Glinda from the beloved musical. The gown featured an exaggerated off-the-shoulder puff sleeve cape and a dramatic long train, adding a touch of whimsy and grandeur to her ensemble.

The buzz surrounding Grande's return to the red carpet was heightened by her involvement in the highly anticipated musical adaptation of 'Wicked.' Directed by Jon M. Chu, the stage-to-screen adaptation of Stephen Schwartz's hit Broadway musical stars Grande as Galinda, also known as Glinda the Good. Her co-star, Cynthia Erivo, portrays Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West.

Fans were treated to a sneak peek of the musical with the premiere of its trailer during February's Super Bowl, generating excitement and anticipation for the film's release.
