Ariana Grande Secretly Launches New Makeup Product at 2024 Olympics

Ariana Grande has some brilliant strategies for her beauty brand. At the 2024 Olympics opening ceremony in Paris on 26th July, she made a savvy business move by teasing a new r.e.m. beauty product through her makeup, as she arrived with her Wicked co-star Cynthia Erivo. 

Makeup artist Michael Anthony discreetly used the brand’s new $17 gel kohl eyeliner pencil in Grande’s signature winged eyeliner. The rich brown shade, Teddy Bear, complemented her muted mauve eyeshadow, achieved with r.e.m. beauty’s Midnight Shadows palette in Babydoll.

Her stunning look was completed with perfectly blushed cheeks using Hypernova satin matte blush in Pinking of You, a radiant glow from Interstellar Highlighter Topper in Miss Mercury, and a lip combo featuring the lip stain marker in Booked n Busy and the plumping lip gloss in Pink Razor.

Grande's Glinda-inspired makeup was paired with a custom baby pink duchess silk satin dress by Thom Browne, featuring a drop waist and matching bow in her elegant updo. Erivo, portraying Elphaba, wore an emerald-green strapless dress with a sweetheart neckline, accessorized with a wide-brimmed hat and Roberto Coin jewels.

Fans can look forward to seeing more of Grande in r.e.m. beauty, as she revealed that her character Glinda will wear some of its products in the upcoming ‘Wicked’ movie, set to release on 22nd November. However, she kept further details under wraps, teasing, "I will tell you later."
