The renowned pop sensation recently made headlines as she addressed the unauthorised leaking of her unreleased track, ‘Fantasize’, during an appearance on the Zach Sang Show. In a stern warning to those responsible, she emphasised her determination to pursue legal action against the perpetrators, signalling her resolve to protect her artistic work.
Ironically, the unexpected leak of ‘Fantasize’ inadvertently influenced the tracklist of her highly anticipated seventh studio album, ‘Eternal Sunshine’. In a candid conversation with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, Grande expressed her longstanding admiration for the timeless classic and her desire to offer her own interpretation of it. The decision to include her rendition of 'The Boy Is Mine' was inspired by the overwhelmingly positive response from her devoted fanbase to ‘Fantasise’, highlighting the profound impact of fan engagement on her creative process.

Instead, she highlighted tracks such as ‘We Can't Be Friends (wait for Your Love)’, ‘Imperfect for You’ and the titular track, ‘Eternal Sunshine.'
The title of the album itself, ‘Eternal Sunshine’, pays homage to the acclaimed film starring Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet, renowned for its exploration of the complexities of love and memory.
