Armie Hammer recently opened up about the difficulties he has faced following serious allegations of s*xual and physical abuse.
In a recent interview on Bill Maher’s Club Random, Hammer shared that he is now happier than ever. Reflecting on his troubled past, he emphasised that reaching a better place often requires enduring bad times and making tough choices. This marks a significant turnaround for the actor, whose Hollywood career took a nosedive after the 2021 allegations.

Hammer candidly discussed his journey through rehab therapy, noting that he has been sober since and describing the experience as a "life changer." He acknowledged that without therapy, his addictions to drugs and alcohol could have been fatal.
In April last year, Hammer faced rape accusations, prompting an investigation by the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office. However, due to insufficient evidence, no charges were filed against him. Further controversy arose from the House of Hammer documentary, where two of his exes, Courtney Vucekovich and Julia Morrison, alleged that he had shared cannibalistic fantasies with them via text messages.

Hammer, who was once married to Elizabeth Chambers and shares two children with her, admitted to cheating on his then-wife. He stressed the importance of taking accountability for his actions as a crucial step in his personal growth.
Looking back on his past, the actor recounted how his excessive partying left him broke at one point. Despite these challenges, a source told PEOPLE that Hammer is determined to prove himself and reclaim his status in the Hollywood film industry. Another source praised his dedication throughout his therapy.
