Arnold Schwarzenegger Takes a Stroll With His Talkative Pet Pig 

It looks like Arnold Schwarzenegger and his pet pig are getting along well!

The 76-year-old actor posted a video of himself and his pig, Schnelly, going for a Tuesday morning stroll on Instagram on 9th April. To raise daily step averages by 1,000, Schwarzenegger challenged his fans to join him in a step challenge.

In the video, Schnelly is seen trotting next to Schwarzenegger while laughing heartily. Observers remarked on the pig’s remarkable cardio.

Since introducing Schnelly, who is renowned for moving quickly, in April 2023, Schwarzenegger and Schnelly have shared a close bond. Schwarzenegger is actively walking with Schnelly despite having a pacemaker implanted recently as a result of previous heart surgeries, and he even attended events shortly after the procedure.

The actor thanked the Cleveland Clinic for the treatment he received after undergoing surgery. In light of his recuperation experience, he underscored the significance of beginning modestly, mirroring his cautious progression following prior surgical procedures.

George Clooney, who costarred with Schwarzenegger in Batman & Robin, encouraged him to adopt a pig after the actor wrapped up promotion for his 2014 movie Sabotage. But Schwarzenegger quips amusingly that his pet pig soon transcended expectations, weighing in at a healthy 300 pounds.

Now that he’s back at home, Schwarzenegger treasures his walks with Schnelly and stresses the value of making incremental rehabilitation gains rather than a large one.
