Their visit commenced with a visit to Lightway Academy in Abuja, where Prince Harry emphasized the importance of acknowledging challenges and mental health struggles, reassuring students that it’s okay not to be okay. Meghan expressed her hope to inspire young girls and boys, drawing parallels with her own children’s potential.

The trip to Nigeria followed Harry’s involvement in commemorating the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games in London, a cause close to his heart. Despite the absence of a royal family reunion, Harry expressed his joy in including Nigeria in the Invictus Games.
