Billy Ray Cyrus Criticises Estranged Wife Firerose in Instagram Story

Billy Ray Cyrus took to Instagram to address a leaked audio clip of a heated argument with his estranged wife, Firerose. The clip has sparked widespread discussion and controversy, shedding light on the tumultuous relationship that ended in divorce within a year.

The country star filed for divorce in May, citing irreconcilable differences. Following the split, Firerose, whose real name Cyrus claims is Johanna Rose Hodges, accused him of verbal, emotional, and psychological abuse. The allegations and the audio clip have painted a troubling picture of their brief marriage.

In his Instagram story, Cyrus expressed his frustration and disillusionment, stating, “Hell yeah, I was at my wit’s end. As every day went by, I started realising something was wrong. And that’s before I knew she was a fraud.” He accused Firerose of lying about her identity and trying to take control of his career and life, including the Cyrus name.

The leaked audio features Cyrus repeatedly using strong language, telling Firerose to “shut the f— up.” The argument reportedly centred around her planned surgery to remove a breast cancer gene, which Cyrus dismissed as unrelated to the core issues in their relationship. He expressed anger, referring to her as “a f—ing selfish b*tch.”

Cyrus’s legal team released a statement to Entertainment Weekly, suggesting that Firerose’s accusations are a final attempt to extract money from him. They claimed Cyrus was understandably frustrated and angry during their marriage, especially as he uncovered more about Firerose’s past. The statement also highlighted that Firerose recorded the conversation without his knowledge, suggesting her behaviour was calculated.
