Blackpink’s Lisa to Co-Headline 2024 Global Citizen Festival in NYC

The Thai rapper, singer and Blackpink member is set to co-headline the 2024 Global Citizen Festival at the Great Lawn in Manhattan’s Central Park, as announced by the organisation. This performance will be Lisa’s first solo appearance at a music festival, and Global Citizen is “thrilled” to include her in the lineup, according to Katie Hill, senior vice president and head of music, entertainment, and artist relations.

“Lisa is not only an incredible performer but also a powerful advocate, leveraging her voice and platform to drive action on some of the most urgent challenges our world is facing,” Hill added.

Hill further emphasised, “We look forward to welcoming Lisa, and of course Lilies and Blinks, to Central Park in September! Join us by taking action on the Global Citizen app, and together we can make a huge impact to end extreme poverty.”

Fans have the opportunity to obtain free tickets to the festival by participating in various world-issue actions through the Global Citizen app, while additional tickets can be purchased via Ticketmaster. Last month, Lisa released ‘Rockstar’, which has already reached No. 70 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking her highest entry on the chart.

“I’m so thrilled that I can finally share my new single ‘Rockstar’ with you guys,” Lisa shared with her fans via Instagram. “I’ve been working on this project for quite some time and I had so much fun while preparing this.

Thank you for your patience and I’m really happy to celebrate this together with you all.” With her upcoming performance at the Global Citizen Festival and the success of her new single, Lisa continues to make significant strides in her solo career, further solidifying her status as a global music icon.
