Charli XCX recently revealed her concept for a new take on the 'Final Destination' franchise, imagining an ‘It Girl’ version packed with glamorous stars meeting grisly fates. In a TikTok video posted by the pool, the Brat singer said she was rewatching the previous films to gear up for the latest installment, ‘Final Destination: Bloodlines’, which she was excited about.

She explained that her love for the franchise stems from its unapologetically chaotic nature, describing it as a series where “hot people get killed” with no moral agenda—just pure, cursed mayhem.

Charli suggested the idea of creating a new entry in the series centered on It Girls. She envisioned a cast that might include Rachel Sennott, Alex Consani, Gabbriette, Romy Mars, Quenlin Blackwell, Devon Lee Carlson, and even herself. She also proposed adding horror icons like Jenna Ortega as a modern Scream Queen and Sissy Spacek as a classic one, all under the direction of a horror auteur.

She added that the film wouldn’t need to change the original formula, emphasizing that part of the franchise’s charm lies in its self-awareness and over-the-top nature. According to her, the appeal is simple: stylish, bloody chaos and outlandish dialogue.

Charli also has a growing presence in film and television, with a number of projects in development, including horror remakes, erotic thrillers, and partnerships with acclaimed Japanese filmmakers. During her Ivor Novello Award acceptance speech for Songwriter Of The Year, she humorously acknowledged her bold persona, saying she wasn’t exactly Bob Dylan, but was committed to her artistic vision.
