Chris Hemsworth Admits Naming Son After Brad Pitt’s Character: ‘Never Been a More Beautiful Man’

As revealed in a recent interview with Variety, Chris Hemsworth drew inspiration from actor Brad Pitt when naming his sons. The Thor star, aged 40, confessed his admiration for Pitt’s work, particularly citing Pitt’s character Tristan Ludlow from ‘Legends of the Fall’ as “the most beautiful man on screen.”

Hemsworth reminisced about watching the film repeatedly with his brothers during their youth and later revisiting it with his wife, Elsa Pataky, during her pregnancy with their twin sons.

During the rewatch, Hemsworth proposed naming one of their sons Tristan, impressed by the character’s coolness. The couple also named their other son Sasha after a stuntman friend. Alongside their twin sons, Hemsworth and Pataky are parents to daughter India, aged 11.

Hemsworth frequently shares glimpses of his family life on social media, recently posting photos of a fishing trip with India. In February, he shared videos of a ski trip with all three kids, showcasing their adventurous spirit on the slopes. Despite joking about feeling “inadequate” compared to his kids’ skiing skills, Hemsworth’s posts reflect his pride and joy in fatherhood.
