The 'Thor' star, 42, and the actress and model, 49, are giving a rare glimpse into their family life with their three children while speaking exclusively with PEOPLE. For them, life Down Under feels like a never-ending summer.

Chris Hemsworth, who shares daughter India Rose, 13, and 11-year-old twin sons Sasha and Tristan with Pataky, says their home offers the perfect mix of space and sunshine. The family lives on a large property with horses, where the kids spend their days surfing, fishing, and riding motorbikes. Chris Hemsworth jokes that he and Elsa happily join in on all the fun, too.

The couple, who married in 2010, welcomed their first child in 2012, followed by their twin boys in 2014. In 2015, Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky made the move from the United States to Australia and settled in Byron Bay, a laid-back surf town just south of the Gold Coast.

For Pataky, the outdoor lifestyle is what truly makes their home special. She says being surrounded by nature shapes their daily life, adding that city living feels challenging for their family because they are used to being outside almost all the time.
Alongside family life, Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky are also teaming up professionally. The couple stars in a new Amazon commercial aired during the 2026 Super Bowl. While the ad plays up a humorous storyline involving Alexa+, the real-life version helps them stay organised in their busy household.

Elsa Pataky says the smart assistant is especially useful when managing a home with three kids. Hemsworth agrees, noting that it frees up more time for what matters most, spending quality moments together as a family and enjoying life.
