This involvement of his kids, India Rose, Sasha, and Tristan, not only impacted his choice to join the project but also played a role during the recording sessions. Hemsworth noted that his children were present in the studio, offering suggestions and adding to the experience with their enthusiasm.

Taking on the role of Optimus Prime, Hemsworth steps into shoes previously filled by legendary voice actor Peter Cullen, known for his portrayal of the character since the original 1980s animated series. The film marks Hemsworth’s debut in major voice acting, a milestone in his career.

Brian Tyree Henry and Keegan-Michael Key also joined the ‘Comic-Con’ panel, sharing their personal connections to the franchise. Key, reflecting on his childhood, reminisced about his dedication to watching the animated series after school. “I’ve never done a movie about something I enjoyed in my childhood,” Key said. “So this was a real treat, an absolute treat, full circle.”

Although Scarlett Johansson was unable to attend the ‘Comic-Con’ event due to filming commitments, she voices Elita in the movie, continuing her successful streak in voiceover work. Johansson’s previous roles include characters in Her, ‘The Jungle Book’, and the Sing films, further showcasing her versatility in animation.
