Christopher Reeve’s Son Will Appear in James Gunn’s ‘Superman’ Movie

James Gunn’s upcoming ‘Superman’ film is set to honour the legacy of the iconic ‘Man of Steel’ and the actor who first brought him to life on screen. Part of this tribute includes a cameo appearance by Will Reeve, the youngest son of the late Christopher Reeve, renowned for his portrayal of ‘Superman’ in the initial four films.

Filming for the movie is currently taking place in Cleveland, Ohio, with Will Reeve recently spotted on set during a significant scene. Directed and written by James Gunn and featuring David Corenswet as Superman, the film is slated for release in theatres starting in 2025.

The Reeve family is prominently featured in the documentary ‘Super/Man,’ directed by Ian Bonhote and Peter Ettedgui, which explores Christopher Reeve’s life journey, from his Hollywood rise to the accident that changed his life in 1995. Will Reeve spoke about the documentary’s impact at the Sundance Film Festival, describing it as a heartfelt portrayal of his father’s life.
