Coldplay Dedicated ‘Everglow’ and ‘Heartbreak’ to Taylor Swift at Their German Concert

During a concert in Düsseldorf, Germany, Coldplay’s Chris Martin dedicated his 2016 song ‘Everglow’ to Taylor Swift, whose final After Eras tour left the city near Gelsenkirchen. This went down well with the audience because Taylor Swift was out of town.

“This is a day for everyone who is upset that Taylor has to go to another city,” he continued. “So we made this love song, we sang this heart song and sent it to the Taylor it is today, then Martin did the song.”

Coldplay will play two shows at the Merkur Spiel-Arena in Düsseldorf. Their overseas gigs come on the heels of their Glastonbury Festival headlining gig. Swift held her third and final show in Gelsenkirchen, northeast of Düsseldorf. 

Later, he will give concerts in Hamburg and Munich, Germany. In her Instagram post, Swift thanked her fans for their interest and support. she wrote. “There’s a logo and paper with a heart, a ‘Betty’ wave and lots of ‘Willow’ globes made of balloons + a mobile phone flashlight. Thank you!!!”

“Now that we’ve announced, our show in Germany will begin, I can’t wait to see you next time in Hamburg!” added Swift. He also stated that he was grateful to those who supported the ‘Criminal Department’ since its publication and drew attention to its successful record.
