This retreat occurred shortly after Dakota Johnson attended the Mexico City premiere of her film ‘Madame Web,’ where she plays the role of Cassandra Webb, a New York City paramedic with clairvoyant abilities. The Marvel Comics-based character explores themes of female empowerment, a concept that resonated with Johnson.

Notably, Martin's ex-wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, has publicly expressed her close friendship with Johnson. In October 2023, Paltrow shared a photo of the two, emphasizing their strong bond. The actress even posted another picture the following month, showcasing their camaraderie.

Martin and Paltrow, who consciously uncoupled in 2014, have maintained an amicable relationship.
