An Emotional, Haunting Homecoming

Sean Bean portrays Jem Stoker in 'Anemone', who goes into the woods to get back in touch with his estranged brother Ray (Daniel Day-Lewis), a recluse and former soldier. Amidst flashes of memories, including a child's sketch, a dead sea creature, shooting, and jangled emotions, their reunion takes place. Ray's voice may be heard in the trailer: "What do you want from me, brother?" Jem responds, "You're going to hell."

More than just an acting comeback, this movie marks Ronan's feature directorial debut and Daniel's first written credit. Blood relationships are explored in their script: brothers, fathers, and sons battling trauma and yearning for peace. 'Anemone,' which is being produced by Focus Features and Plan B (Brad Pitt's firm), is expected to be an award-winning film as well as a creative milestone.
