David Corenswet Seen in Cleveland Filming Scenes in Superman Costume

Actor David Corenswet was recently spotted in downtown Cleveland, Ohio, filming scenes for the highly anticipated ‘Superman reboot’ film. Directed by James Gunn, this movie promises a fresh take on the iconic superhero.

In the images captured on set, Corenswet is seen donning the classic red-and-blue Superman costume, complete with the trademark cape, showcasing his transformation into the legendary character. Joining Corenswet on set was actor Edi Gathegi, portraying the character ‘Mister Terrific’. Gathegi’s costume stays true to comic book aesthetics, featuring a black mask and a jacket in black, red, and white colours, adding depth to the film’s diverse cast of characters.

Among the cast members spotted during filming was Rachel Brosnahan, known for her role in ‘The Marvellous Mrs. Maisel’, playing the iconic character Lois Lane. Brosnahan, to keep her costume under wraps, was seen covered in all-black attire while on set.

Director James Gunn has been teasing fans with glimpses of the movie’s progress, sharing a photo on Instagram on May 6th, showcasing the film’s visual style and hinting at the release date of July 11, 2025, creating anticipation among Superman enthusiasts.

The star-studded cast includes Nicholas Hoult as the notorious villain Lex Luthor, alongside Isabela Merced, Skyler Gisondo, Sara Sampaio, Terence Rosemore, Anthony Carrigan, Nathan Fillion, María Gabriela de Faría, and Wendell Pierce, promising an exciting ensemble performance.

In an interview last year, Gunn hinted at exploring a more empathetic side of ‘Superman’, aiming to portray the superhero’s humanity and alien nature in a nuanced way, setting this reboot apart from previous interpretations of the beloved character.
