Demons Pick the Wrong Queer Community in First ‘Satranic Panic’ Trailer

A new queer horror film is ready to make its debut, and Collider is excited to exclusively unveil its first trailer. Directed by the up-and-coming Alice Maio Mackay, ‘Satranic Panic’ promises to be a standout in the demonic possession genre. The trailer showcases Mackay’s signature blend of eerie and campy elements, complete with vibrant visual effects and unique costumes.

The trailer quickly introduces the central characters: Aria, a singer played by Cassie Hamilton (‘The People’s Joker’), and Jay, an artist portrayed by Zarif (‘Wellmania’). Jay’s boyfriend fell victim to a Satanic ritual witnessed by both Aria and Jay.

As they delve into uncovering the motives behind the attack, they find themselves facing real demons. Unexpectedly, Aria’s routine estrogen shot grants her the supernatural ability to detect these demons, empowering her and Jay to seek revenge and banish the demons back to hell.

The teaser offers a colourful, blood-filled twist on the horror genre, filled with dark goo and vibrant visuals, in line with Mackay’s previous work such as ‘So Vam’, ‘T Blockers,’ and ‘Bad Girl Boogey’. Mackay also has a holiday-themed horror film, ‘Carnage for Christmas’, coming soon.
