Director of ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Reacts to Taylor Swift Casting Rumour

The film’s director, Shawn Levy, who is well-known for his work on ‘Deadpool & Wolverine,’ has commented on the persistent speculations that Taylor Swift would make a cameo. There has been conjecture that Swift might unexpectedly appear in the upcoming Marvel production as the superhero Dazzler.

Swift’s involvement was neither confirmed nor rejected by Levy in response to an Entertainment Tonight question, remarking, “That is hardly confirmed nor denied in this interview.” I’m going to physically step out of the frame to protect myself because if I don’t, Ryan Reynolds is going to take a hard blow on me.”

Levy’s admission that he went to a football game the previous year in support of Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, fueled further rumours. “All that’s known is that I attended a football game, and those hours were thoroughly documented, and that’s all I’m going to say,” he stated. “How do I put it? I find mystery to be enjoyable.”

Levy has addressed the rumours before; in the past, he had kept silent when questioned about whether or not he attended the game in October of last year.

“Are you kidding me? Reynolds addressed the rumours in November 2022, saying that Swift was not a member of the cast but that he was open to her coming?” For that woman, I would stop at nothing. She is exceptionally intelligent.”

Reynolds joked, “If we shoot the next Deadpool film in our house, then that would be that location,” about the use of the same house that was featured in Swift’s ‘All Too Well’ short film in the Deadpool & Wolverine commercial.

Hugh Jackman will play Wolverine once more in the third part of the Deadpool franchise, ‘Deadpool & Wolverine.’
