Doja Cat Felt ‘Unsafe and Traumatized’ by her Elder Brother, Revealed by Her Mother

Doja Cat’s family drama has taken a serious turn, as her mum, Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer, is seeking legal protection from her elder brother, Raman Dalithando Dlamini.
According to court documents filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court on 12th January, Doja Cat’s mother is aiming for a fresh restraining order against Raman, claiming he has been abusive not only towards her but also towards the ‘Paint the Town Red’ singer.

In the court records obtained by TMZ, Deborah alleges that Raman has subjected both her and Doja Cat to physical and verbal abuse over the years. Shockingly, she states that Doja has allegedly had her teeth knocked out by her elder brother. The documents further highlight Raman’s verbally degrading and demeaning behaviour, accusing him of stealing and destroying some of the singer’s property.
Despite Deborah’s efforts to secure protection for her Grammy-winning daughter, the court denied the request for a restraining order for Doja Cat. Instead, a temporary court-ordered protection was granted to her mother. The court emphasized that if Doja feels the need for protection from her brother, she’ll have to file a separate request for a restraining order.
