The revelation about Beyoncé’s cover came after Parton accidentally spilled the beans during an interview with Knox News earlier this month. Expressing her enthusiasm, Parton revealed, “I think she’s recorded ‘Jolene’, and I think it’s probably gonna be on her country album, which I’m very excited about.”

Despite the slip-up, Parton expressed her admiration for Beyoncé and graciously gave her blessing for the cover, acknowledging their mutual respect and admiration over the years.

‘Cowboy Carter’, the much-anticipated follow-up to 2022’s ‘Renaissance’, is set to hit the airwaves tomorrow, with fans buzzing about its potential. Yesterday, Parton unveiled the full tracklist, which includes previously released singles such as ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ and ’16 Carriages’.

While rumours swirled about Parton’s potential appearance on the album, it’s now been confirmed that the LP will feature guest appearances from Miley Cyrus, Post Malone and Shaboozey.
