Dua Lipa Teases New Single at The 2024 Grammys

Dua Lipa is gearing up for a musical rendezvous with her upcoming track ‘Training Season.’ The pop sensation, nominated for two awards at the 2024 Grammy Awards, teased the song on the red carpet pre-show in Los Angeles.

During a chat with host Laverne Cox, the ‘Levitating’ singer shed light on the inspiration behind her much-anticipated single, set to hit the airwaves on 15th Feb. Cox, referring to teasers on social media, mentioned empowering lyrics where Lipa expresses her desire for a mature partner, one who takes control without needing guidance.

In response, clad in a bespoke silver Courrèges dress for the award show, Lipa confidently stated, “They gotta come correct!” When pressed about the theme of ‘Training Season,’ Lipa clarified, “It’s about training season being over. I’m, like, done training someone up.”

Confirming that a full-length album is on the horizon after ‘Training Day,’ Lipa assured, “It’s coming. It’s coming soon.” The British artist had announced ‘Training Day’ on 25th Jan., unveiling the artwork on social media, featuring her hanging from a metal bar in a black leotard, tights, white socks and Mary Janes, with her auburn hair flowing freely.

Since the announcement, Lipa has shared glimpses of the song, including behind-the-scenes footage of the artwork photoshoot and dance rehearsal clips with her team. In a snippet, she sings about seeking maturity in a romantic partner, emphasizing the need for someone who understands her and can take control without being taught.
