Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans Team Up in First ‘Red One’ Trailer

Santa Claus, codenamed RED ONE, has been abducted, and Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans are on a mission to rescue him in the action-comedy Red One. Set for release in November, the trailer promises a thrilling, global adventure suitable for all ages. 

Johnson stars as Callum Drift, Head of Security at the North Pole, who enlists the help of notorious bounty hunter Jack O’Malley (played by Evans) after Santa (JK Simmons, looking muscular) is kidnapped. The trailer teases festive chaos including an aggressive polar bear, Krampus in a high-stakes game, and Santa showing unexpected strength.

Hiram Garcia, producer with Seven Bucks Productions, discussed Amazon securing the film rights, stating, “We took it around town, and fortunately all of our studio partners threw their hats in the ring. I was so flattered to see the way everyone was bidding on it, but ultimately Amazon stepped up in a huge way and really understood our ambition and the story we were trying to tell…”

‘Red One’ is slated for theatrical release on 15th November.
