Elizabeth Debicki Teases Brad Pitt's Iconic Return in 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' Sequel

Elizabeth Debicki has a busy slate ahead, and one project stands out above the rest: her upcoming film with Brad Pitt.

Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE at the Sundance Film Festival recently, the actress shared that she recently wrapped filming on David Fincher's sequel to 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.' She described the experience as a true dream come true and said she loved every minute of working on 'The Adventures of Cliff Booth.'

Debicki, 35, stars alongside Brad Pitt, who returns as Cliff Booth, the role that earned him an Academy Award in 2019. This time, Fincher steps in as director, with the script written by Quentin Tarantino. The cast also includes Scott Caan, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Carla Gugino.

Filming of 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' took place over nearly six months in Los Angeles, and Debicki said she couldn't have enjoyed the process more. She praised Fincher as a collaborator and spoke just as warmly about working with Brad Pitt, calling his return to the iconic character a joy and saying she felt genuinely happy throughout the shoot.

Beyond the 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' sequel, Debicki continues to line up major projects. She stars in 'Wicker,' directed by Alex Huston Fischer and Eleanor Wilson, alongside Olivia Colman, Alexander Skarsgård, and Peter Dinklage. She recently appeared with Colman and Tom Hiddleston in season two of 'The Night Manager' as well.

Looking ahead to 2026, Debicki says her main goal is simple: to keep working. She added that while so much in life is beyond control, choosing the right people to work with and surround yourself with makes all the difference.

'The Adventures of Cliff Booth' is expected to be released on Netflix later in 2026.
