In a recent interview, Corrin discussed the challenges faced and how they navigated the pressures of embodying such a high-profile character.

Despite her success and recognition for her role as Cassandra Nova in the MCU alongside Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, Corrin admitted to battling self-doubt while filming ‘The Crown’. The series, celebrated for its meticulous historical detail and complex character portrayals, featured Corrin as a young Princess Diana.

Corrin revealed feeling overwhelmed by the role, particularly during scenes involving intense interactions or emotional monologues. "I experienced huge imposter syndrome, especially in the beginning". Corrin confessed. "There was one scene in particular, sitting at the dinner table in Balmoral, Scotland, where I just couldn't get it right. I felt like I wasn't living up to the expectations."

Imposter syndrome, a common struggle among successful individuals, involves self-doubt or feelings of inadequacy despite notable achievements. Corrin explained that, over time, they learned to manage these feelings. "It never really goes away, but you learn to live with it. I realized that caring deeply about my performance and wanting to do justice to Diana's legacy was actually a strength," Corrin said.

The portrayal of Princess Diana in ‘The Crown’ has been lauded for its emotional depth and sensitivity, capturing both Diana’s public persona and her personal struggles. Critics and audiences have responded positively to Corrin’s depiction of Diana’s strength and vulnerability, affirming her status as a talented and versatile actor.
