Emma Myers Teases Exciting Second Season of ‘Wednesday’

Emma Myers has shared some tantalising hints about the upcoming second season. Currently, she’s also starring as Pip in Netflix’s new show ‘A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder,’ adapted from Holly Jackson’s popular novel that’s been making waves on BookTok.

In ‘A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder,’ Myers’ character, Pip, chooses to investigate the murder of former student Andie Bell for her end-of-sixth-form project. This intriguing storyline promises to captivate viewers just as much as the book has enchanted readers.

When it comes to ‘Wednesday,’ Myers told Teen Vogue: “There are lots of new adventures that we all go on. I love the scripts this season, they’re so fun! I think people should be ready for a good time.”

Though she had to keep mum about many details in a recent interview with NME, Myers couldn’t resist joking, “Otherwise my body will be buried somewhere and you’ll never see me again!” She did, however, spill the beans about some exciting new cast members, including Billie Piper and Steve Buscemi.

“I’ve gotten to work with Steve Buscemi – he’s absolutely fantastic,” she shared. “And Billie Piper a couple of times, and we’re getting into the swing of it, and everybody fits in really well. This season’s going to be great, especially with the new cast, and I’m excited about it.”

Reflecting on her new role in ‘A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder,’ Myers noted she feels a stronger connection to Pip than to Enid. “I’m not as smart as Pip is, but our personalities are somewhat similar, so I felt a connection with her when I read the books.”
