The 35-year-old star celebrated the release of her latest film in a show-stopping custom Louis Vuitton yellow sheer embellished gown, paired with a velvet flower choker necklace. Stone, known for her signature red hue, returned to her famous hair colour, styling it elegantly in an updo by her stylist Mara Roszak.
A star-studded event, the premiere saw the presence of Mark Ruffalo, Ramy Youssef, Jerrod Carmichael, Christopher Abbott, Margaret Qualley, and Willem Dafoe.

‘Poor Things,’ written by Tony McNamara and based on Alisdair Gray's ‘1992’ novel, follows the story of Bella, portrayed by Stone, a reborn woman on a transformative journey after an experiment by the mad scientist Dr. Godwin Baxter, played by Dafoe. Directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, who also directed Stone's 2018 film ‘The Favourite,’ the movie promises a blend of humour and depth.
Emma Stone on Taking The Role of Bella
In a preview, Stone, 34, expressed her reasons for taking on the role of Bella, emphasizing the character's representation of womanhood in all its facets. The film earned an R rating for its bold portrayal of s*xual content, nudity and intense themes surrounding Stone's character's s*xual journey.

Stone explained, "I wanted to play Bella because it felt like acceptance of what it is to be a woman, to be free, to be scared and brave."
Describing ‘Poor Things’ as a "very, very funny film," the actress highlighted her character's growth, stating, "She's understanding what it is to be a member of society. The more autonomous she becomes, the more challenged these men seem to be by it."

Expressing her deep connection to the show in her monologue, Stone revealed, "It has always been my favourite show, and since I started hosting, it's also become just a huge part of my life. “I've made so many memories here, and so many friends, and I even met my husband at SNL."
