Taylor Swift has clinched the coveted title of TIME Magazine’s ‘Person of the Year’ for 2023, gracing three distinct covers of the magazine and engaging in a rare in-depth interview to mark the occasion. In a recent Instagram post acknowledging the honour, the pop sensation hinted at her cautious approach to interviews these days, expressing trust issues in that field.

Sharing a photo of one of her three covers, Swift wrote, “I have trust issues when it comes to interviews, but I couldn’t be happier that I did this one with [Sam Lansky].” She specifically commended Lansky, the writer of her ‘Person of the Year’ profile, describing him as the “best type of person: curious, interested, hilarious, intriguing and intrigued.”

The ‘Anti-Hero’ singer expressed her awe at the impressive lineup of personalities featured in the magazine, including Stevie Nicks, Greta Gerwig, Shonda Rhimes, Phoebe Bridgers and more, all of whom showered praises on her in the article. Reflecting on the year and the journey leading up to it, Swift conveyed her gratitude multiple times, emphasizing the significance of the recognition.
