The recently released trailer for 'Fairyland', which is set in San Francisco in the 1970s and 1980s, features a very touching bond between Steve Abbott (Scoot McNairy) and his daughter, Alysia (Emilia Jones). Steve, a poet and activist who comes out as gay, raises his daughter in the thriving bohemian subculture of the time after Alysia's mother passes away. Steve hints at a lifetime of regret and hidden stories when he says, 'When I was your age, I couldn't be the person that I wanted to be,' in one of the trailer's moments.
